I’m getting back on the road in October and November and once again heading east. At the start of October I’ll be picking up a car in Berlin and driving to Szczecin to explore the east and west banks of the Oder, and then at the end of the month I’ll be in Latvia, doing the first leg of a nationwide tour to mark the release of the Latvian language version of The Road of Slaughter, about the 15th Division in Pomerania.
That’s called Ceļš uz slaktiņu and it’s a translation of the second edition, so it includes the important details that the sons of Legionnaires told me about events in Podgaje-Flederborn.
More details on all these developments nearer the time. There’s a lot going on, but I like to wait till things are definite.
